Hi there! My name is Momo, and I just had the most amazing adventure ever! I stayed in a real treehouse at Samriddhi Banquet Garden & Resort in Murshidabad. Let me tell you all about it!
When we first arrived at the resort, I was super excited. I had heard so much about treehouses, but I never thought I'd actually get to stay in one. As we walked towards it, I could see it peeking out from the trees. It was so cool! It looked like something straight out of a fairy tale.
Climbing up the wooden steps felt like an adventure in itself. When we reached the top, I couldn't believe my eyes. The treehouse was beautiful! It had big windows that let in lots of light and gave us a great view of the lawn and fishing pond around us. I felt like I was in my own secret hideout, high up in the trees.
Inside, it was really cozy. There was a comfy bed with soft pillows, and I even had a little corner where I could sit and read my books. The best part was the balcony. I spent a lot of time out there, just watching the birds and listening to the leaves rustling in the wind. It was so peaceful.
At night, it got even more magical. The treehouse was lit up with fairy lights, and I could see the stars twinkling above us. I felt like I was living in a dream. My dog Short and I would sit on the balcony, and he seemed to love it just as much as I did. Sometimes, we'd hear Trigo, our big dog friend, barking from below, as if he was telling us stories from the ground.
At midnight, I got scared. I felt that someone was whispering. My heart raced as I strained to hear the soft, eerie murmurs. I opened my eyes and saw a tall, lanky shadow looming from behind the curtain of my window. The silhouette seemed to sway and shift, sending chills down my spine.
I froze, barely daring to breathe, my eyes locked on the shadow. The whispers continued, growing louder in the silence of the night. Summoning all my courage, I slowly sat up in bed, my pulse thundering in my ears.
As I peered more closely, I noticed the curtains gently moving. A sudden gust of wind blew in through a tiny gap in the window, making the curtains billow. The whispering sound grew more distinct, and I realized it was just the wind rustling through the trees outside.
I let out a shaky breath, feeling a bit foolish. The tall, lanky shadow was nothing more than the silhouette of the tree branches swaying in the breeze, their shadows cast by the moonlight. Relieved, I got up and walked to the window, closing it to shut out the wind and its eerie whispers.
I stood there for a moment, looking out at the trees. They were just trees, after all, moving gently in the night. With the window securely shut, I returned to bed, my fear replaced by a sense of calm. The room was quiet again, and I pulled the blankets up, feeling safe and secure. As I drifted back to sleep, I couldn't help but smile at how my imagination had turned the wind and shadows into something so frightening.
During the day, we explored Murshidabad. We visited the Hazarduari Palace, which was huge and had so many rooms. It felt like we were stepping back in time. We also saw the Katra Mosque and learned a lot about the history of the place. But honestly, I couldn't wait to get back to our treehouse each day.
Living in a treehouse was the best experience ever. It felt like we were part of nature, and I loved every minute of it. If you ever get a chance to stay in a treehouse, you totally should. It's an adventure you'll never forget!
Phew..Momo
